Brian Eno Launches Yota Space

Brian Eno, legendary music producer and pioneer of digital art recently launched Yota Space at a press conference in St Petersburg. Yota Space, the new concept event that celebrates and brings together the cream of the world’s best visual artists for the very first time in December.  This includes, Brian Eno himself, onedotzero, Chris Levine, Musion, UVA, Jason Bruges to name but a few.

Brian Eno comments, “This is a great platform for digital art and music, which in my mind have a natural cohesion to one another. I am also delighted that it is being held in Russia as I have always had a connection with the country. As an art student my favourite period was Russian painting of the early 20th Century. I also lived in St Petersburg for a short while. This is the first time my work 77 Million Paintings will be seen in Russia, which combines art and music, my two great loves.”

Yota, the Russian wireless broadband Internet company, has handpicked a line-up of cutting edge artists to showcase their unique talents at the inaugural Yota Space Festival from 5th – 19th December.

The two-week event will kicks off on the 5th December with a multi-media party headlined by Grammy award nominated British electronic band Hot Chip.
