Oleo Bodycare offers a collection of products handmade by professional aromatherapist Olivia Chapman. With no parabens, synthetic fragrances or colours, mineral oils or sodium lauryl sulphate (a synthetic detergent), the range contains no nasties.
I tried the Soothing Body Lotion, with soothing and calming chamomile and lavender. Smoothed onto tired legs after a day in the sun (or at least the little bit of sun England did have to offer), the moisturiser was applied with ease and sank in well. With ingredients also including coconut, sunflower, jojoba and almond and calendula oil, it had a strong smell that was reminiscent of a spa. It was relaxing, and great after a bath in the evening.
The body lotion really did soothe my tired skin, and it didn’t drag when applied. There was no sticky residue, and my skin felt smooth and supple.
The Oleo range also includes body scrubs, deodorants, body washes, facial moisturisers and shampoo to name a few, and is available from oleobodycare.co.uk. Oleo Soothing Body Lotion RRP £9.50. |
